My fundraising journey began shortly after I met my husband, John, at the University of South Carolina. After graduating and getting married we joined staff with a college ministry, Cru, which required raising financial support to provide for our salaries.

We never expected to enjoy “asking people for money” but once we understood the biblical principles of inviting people to join in God's mission, we began to find joy in the relational and missional aspect of fundraising.

Through the Lord's provision over the last 4 years, we have personally raised over $250,000 in financial support to cover our ministry expenses, salary, insurance, taxes, etc.

As Residency Director at Midtown Fellowship, I have trained and coached 31 Residents and church planters to become fully funded; collectively raising $464,150 to provide for their year-long internship salaries.

I want to apply this same model of relational fundraising to raising financial support for YOUR adoption to be fully funded!

Fun facts: We are South Carolina natives, southerners at heart. I am your typical oldest child and enjoy being in charge, organization, and to do lists. My favorite things are puppies and anything that sparkles.

My sweet husband, John, always has a smile on his face, listens to financial podcasts for fun, and would be delighted if you asked him for advice on budgeting.

We are both water sports enthusiasts, from slalom skiing to barefoot waterskiing, and spend the majority of our summers on Lake Murray. The key to our hearts is telling us how much you love Molly and Ruthie, our two miniature dachshund pups.
